Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all moms! I had a marvelous first Mother's Day and couldn't ask for a sweeter daughter to share with Steve. I thank God every day for all of the blessings that have bestowed on me. Steve helped Saela make the gift in the middle picture and Saela "signed" her first card to me. She gave me chocolate - a girl after my own heart! We sure hope that everyone was able to celebrate the day with family and friends.

Catching Flies...

Saela has clearly learned how to stick out her tongue - perhaps this is due to the TOOTH that has made an appearance. Yes folks, one of her bottom incisors has started to emerge. That small little tooth has caused a number of sleepless nights for Mom and Dad - but we have our good sleeper back for now. In addition, Saela is an expert army crawler. We expect her to become super mobile anyday now. Well, that's about all from our end. Have a great weekend!

Apparently, it was very tiring for her.

EIGHT MONTHS OLD!

We can hardly believe that our baby is EIGHT months old already! In no time she will be walking, going to kindergarten, graduating from high school, getting married and having babies of her own. I pray everyday that I am soaking in all of the details of Saela, my sweet baby girl. Her smile, her frown, her smell after a bath, her chubby arms and legs - everything about her are memories that I hope will not fade as time goes by. Mommy, Daddy, Jax & Jilly love you Saela (and so do a lot of other family and friends!)
