Passed Out

Saela and I were hanging out and cleaning the kitchen today.
Apparently, it was very tiring for her.

EIGHT MONTHS OLD!

We can hardly believe that our baby is EIGHT months old already! In no time she will be walking, going to kindergarten, graduating from high school, getting married and having babies of her own. I pray everyday that I am soaking in all of the details of Saela, my sweet baby girl. Her smile, her frown, her smell after a bath, her chubby arms and legs - everything about her are memories that I hope will not fade as time goes by. Mommy, Daddy, Jax & Jilly love you Saela (and so do a lot of other family and friends!)

I'll Be Walkin' in No Time...

...but for now sittin' is easier!

What a Great Tee Shirt!

Let's get a closer look...

Thanks Baby Girl!

Whoosh

There goes Jilly - trying to steal the show!

It's Time to Go Outside

May we PLEASE go now?

The Sippy Cup

We are introducing the sippy cup and Saela is delighted to have another item to chew. If we hold it up like a bottle she will drink out of it - but hasn't mastered tipping it up herself yet.

Optical Illusion...

of my mom as a Bobblehead.
Here are a couple of photos from her recent visit:

My mom was able to visit for a few days last week and we sure miss her already! She was able to spend quite a bit of quality bonding time with Saela which they both enjoyed immensely.

Saela is just about ready to take off crawling - I'm sure she will have that mastered any day now. Watch out Jax and Jilly! She continues to eat her "solids" and is now having cereal in the morning and a veggie at night. As soon as we make another grocery run, we'll be picking up a few fruits to try next.

We have had three days of BEAUTIFUL weather here in Michigan - so we have spent a lot of time outside. Saela "graduated" from her infant car seat and thus we busted out the jogging stroller and her new car seat. My legs do not really recall what "jogging" is like - so we'll have to build back up to that! Saela LOVES going for stroller rides. She just kicks her feet and takes in all of the sights and sounds. It's hard to believe that my baby is too big for her first car seat. As I've said before - she continues to amaze me daily. You can just see her learning as she looks at new things - this wide eyed look is one of the most wonderful things I've ever seen.

Hope all is well with all of you!
