Saela was fortunate to meet her Uncle David and Cousin Tessa at the beginning of last week. David is a Captain in the U.S. Army and was able to spend three days in Michigan during his two-week Thanksgiving leave. He is currently stationed in Afghanistan and has five months left of a one-year commitment. We are very grateful for the work that David does as well as the work of all of those who have dedicated their lives to the armed services. We thank you for the multitude of sacrifices you have made to protect our freedom.

Holy Moly - Where Does Time Go?
First and foremost I would like to shout a Happy Birthday to my Uncle Ben who turns 30 today!
I'm not sure how many people still read this - but for those that do... Mom says sorry it has been so long since the last post. Time seems to be flying by these days - she can hardly believe it's already been a month since she returned to work
I am doing well - I weighed 12# at an appointment last Tuesday. New pictures will be forthcoming soon - our camera needed new batteries and now the new pictures won't load onto the site tonight - go figure.
We are looking forward to a few days off next week to see Dad's brother, David, who is back from Afghanistan for a two-week leave and to celebrate Thanksgiving. This will be the first chance I have to meet my Uncle Dave and Cousin Tessa and I am very excited. Dad actually has a week and a half off as he will be leaving for deer hunting on Wednesday. Wish him luck... (although I think Mom might not be too upset if he didn't get one - apparently she had a bad experience while she was pregnant with me - something about deer soup - but we won't go there.)
We will then be spending Thanksgiving Day at Grandpa and Grandma Green's house and we sure have a lot to be thankful for this year. Well, Mom says it's time for me to get to bed. Last Thursday night, I actually slept FIVE hours in a row and we are all hoping for a repeat performance soon!
Goodnight all -
Love,
Saela C.
