Asher has plagiocephaly (a flat head) and will need to wear his helmet for 3-6 months to give him a nice round head. We chose camouflage for the design...Michigan State decor was not available much to Steve's dismay. So far, Asher seems to be adjusting well to wearing it. After a five day ramp up, he will be wearing it 23 hours per day. We will have to have a bit of an adjustment over his right eye...otherwise he's going to have a perma-wink for the next few months and I wouldn't want it to stay permanent!

In other news, he has also started sitting up in the last week...my baby is growing up...too fast! He has such a sweet and sunny disposition...he smiles at everything! He is also quite vocal...he let's you know when he wants/needs something. Next week he will be SIX months old!! We will be starting solids...and hopefully more regularly sleeping through the night! We love you Asher!

Just wanted to wish y'all a very Happy Thanksgiving! I check your blog out quite often, and showed pictures of your beautiful children to Joe this morning for the first time. He asked if Steve's e-mail was a part of this because he'd like to communicate with him (his is josko01@embarqmail.com). We have 5 grandchildren that are the joys of our life (ages 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2) so have enjoyed seeing your children grow! God Bless you all! Joe & Cheryl Jacobs
